As CEO of Serious Energy, he helped develop, patent and produce disruptive technologies that reduce energy usage in buildings, the worlds largest contributor of CO₂. Kevin built a team of 420 people driving a 63% CAGR over 8 years while delivering high tech materials, products, software and services to 70,000 projects including the Empire State Building and New York Stock Exchange and to thousands of homes.
Kevin has also led software/web/cloud/mobile innovations including OnStar virtual advisor for GM, Perfect Commerce (online multivariate procurement auctions), and mobile data (Air Communications) and is credited with the development of a wide range of technology firsts including the modern "human-like" voice user interface (think Siri), the first wide-area-wireless data smart cell phone (AirCommunicator) and the invention of soundproof drywall (QuietRock).
Kevin has delivered his vision as speaker or keynote to hundreds of conferences including the notable TED series, INC 5000, and keynote for the Democratic Caucus (House of Representatives).
Kevin has been featured in publications including BusinessWeek, Time, Fortune, Forbes etc. and has been recognized by dozens of organizations including Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine, one of the top innovators of the decade by CNBC, named Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum (Davos), and inducted into the Innovation Hall of Fame at RIT.
