Calera’s science and engineering teams have used key findings
from the laboratory to conceptualize, engineer and construct a
pilot scale ABLE plant. Calera’s ABLE pilot facility is an
automated facility that produces NaOH, C2H4Cl2,
and H2. The learnings from this
pilot facility are being used in the design of a larger scale pilot
facility to be constructed and operational by mid-2014.
